Today the students were able to begin reading their script. I can assure you that the excitement and noise in the classroom was at its highest! All seemed very eager for their roles. Each student will have two scripts. When the students are fluent in their first script, they will start practicing the second script. The scripts this year are: The Cranky Bear, The Three Little Pigs, Moose's Loose Tooth, and The Gingerbread Man.
One of my favorite memories of my son's time in your first grade class was Readers Theater. I can't wait for this year's performances.
