American Symbols

We learned about American symbols. Each student made his/her own bald eagle. They traced their foot for the body and hands for the wings!! 

A walk on the trail

Simek's Farm

The students have anxiously been awaiting for our field trip to the farm! It was a muddy adventure! We didn't get very far into the corn maze when we decided it would be best to get out! Kids were getting stuck in the mud, falling in the mud, covered in mud...it was muddy!! Of course, most of the kids loved the mud! We got to hear a story about a farm, take a hayride, eat lunch outside and play on the playground! 

Learning about adjectives

During our writing center, the students got to taste delicious lollipops and describe them using adjectives.
