Show and Tell

Every Friday during prize box, students can select from a variety of tickets besides the prize box. Some of the tickets include a no shoe pass, bring a stuffed animal, pick a spot to sit, use a pen, and show and tell. My favorite is show and tell! It's fun after lunch to listen to the students share favorite items, and learn something about classmates.

Today the students dressed in their pajamas and watched human hungry hungry hippo in the gym. From our class Mackenzie, Matthew and Julieauna played the game.

Mystery Reader

 

 

We had our first mystery reader! Thank you Jessi for coming in and reading to the students! You picked a wonderful book and the students were glued to the story the entire time! If you haven't read "Peanut Butter & Cupcake" you must check it out!

 

 

   

 

 

 

 

Break the rules party!

 

These hardworking first graders filled our reward marble jar! They came up with different party ideas and made the final decision to have a "break the rules" party. The students enjoyed chewing gum, having their shoes off, getting extra free choice, watching a movie with a snack and many more broken rules!
